Veterans Day is a special occasion to honor and celebrate the service of all veterans, service members and their families. On this day, Americans show their gratitude to those who have served their country. Restaurants in Philadelphia are offering discounts and free meals to veterans on this special day. Brio Italian Grille is providing a complimentary pasta main course to veterans with valid proof of identity.
Perkin's Restaurant & Bakery is offering a free Magnificent Seven meal to current service members and veterans. Coco's Restaurant and Shari's are giving a “buy one, get one free” offer for all veterans and active service members. Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery is granting free admission for all active duty military personnel and veterans with a military card or uniform. Bombshells Restaurant & Bar is giving away free main courses for veterans at all 12 Texas locations. In addition to visiting one of the restaurants mentioned above, you can celebrate this Veterans Day with activities, events and attractions, discounts at stores, and special offers, including free admission to national parks, amusement parks, and retail and regional discounts.
It's important to remember that not all restaurants offer Veterans Day deals. For example, there are 4 Flying Pie restaurants in Oregon and none of them offer any type of Veterans Day deal. It's also important to note that preference will be given to “first-time veterans” and active duty personnel; preference will be given to those who have not participated in the program in the past. Veterans Day is an important day to show our appreciation for those who have served our country. It's also essential to remember that service members are a group at risk because of their service, which can go unnoticed in the positions of politicians.
So, take some time this Veterans Day to thank a veteran for their service.
